Eddie Aprile

is a bilingual educator and technology professional with over two decades of experience in language instruction, educational leadership, and IT project management. Born in the United States, Aprile has built a multifaceted career teaching English as a Second Language (ESL), Spanish, business administration, and computer technology across high school and university settings.

Academic Background and Teaching Credentials

Since the 2023–2024 academic year, Eddie Aprile has served as a Spanish teacher at Bourgade Catholic High School in Phoenix, Arizona. Concurrently, he has taught over 65 bilingual MBA courses at the University of Phoenix, covering topics such as leadership, management, organizational behavior, and strategic planning. From 2000 to 2003, he also taught computer-related subjects at Mesa Community College.

He holds multiple certifications from the Arizona Department of Education (ADE), all valid through October 2030, including:

Currently, he is completing a Master’s in Spanish Language and Literature at the University of Texas Permian Basin, with 18 out of 30 credits completed.

He also holds a 120-hour TESOL certification and has passed the AEPA/NES Spanish subject knowledge exam. He is in the process of being certified by the ADE as a Spanish teacher.

Professional Experience

From 1995 to 2023, Aprile worked for the City of Phoenix Information Technology Services Department, serving as a Windows and VMware Administrator and IT Project Manager. He provided technical support to more than 25 municipal departments and led strategic IT initiatives totaling over $5 million. His role integrated advanced technical skills with organizational leadership and cross-departmental coordination.

In higher education, he was a Certified Advanced Faculty member at the University of Phoenix, where he also supported graduate students with research and data analysis using tools like SPSS and Excel. He contributed to curriculum development, academic advising, and graduate student mentorship.

Affiliations and Recognition

Aprile is affiliated with professional organizations including the Project Management Institute and the Congressional Hispanic Leadership Institute. He is an Advanced Certified Facilitator at the University of Phoenix and holds credentials in ITIL, Cisco, VMware, and project management.
